Sound Devices PowerStation Cell

Sound Devices PowerStation Cell — A dedicated multi-bay fast charger for the XL-B14500 and XL-B18650 rechargeable cells used across the Astral TX, Astral Mini Plus, and Astral HH transmitter family, filling a long-standing gap in the Astral wireless ecosystem. Unlike the PowerStation-8M, which charges by docking Astral Mini transmitters directly via USB-C, the PowerStation Cell charges bare cells independently of the transmitters themselves. This frees up bodypacks for prep, labeling, or continued use while spare batteries replenish.

The unit charges multiple cells simultaneously in a compact, cart-friendly form factor, making it the practical power management solution for sound mixers running large Astral TX or Astral HH fleets across multi-day shoots or long theatrical runs. The XL-B14500 cell (1200mAh, 3.7V) is also used in the new Astral Mini Plus, making the PowerStation Cell the natural companion charger for that transmitter as well.
