Sennheiser XSW-D Portable Lavalier Set
Made for shooting interviews on a DSLR, the Sennheiser XSW-D Portable Lavalier Set sends an ME 2-II clip-on mic to the camera’s 3.5 mm input over a digital link.
The receiver sits on the camera in the included cold shoe mount and connects with the coiled 3.5 mm cable. The transmitter clips to the speaker’s belt. Setup takes one touch on each unit. The set works in the 2.4 GHz band, which is license-free worldwide, and reaches up to 75 m (250 ft) in optimal conditions. Each unit charges over USB-C and runs up to 5 hours, and either end can mute the signal.
