Sennheiser MKE 200 – Overview

The Sennheiser MKE 200 is a directional on-camera microphone designed for enhancing audio recording with DSLR and mirrorless cameras, as well as mobile devices. This mic system is compact enough to fit easily on your camera (or phone / tablet), and the directional microphone capsule can give more presence and clarity to your audio. The MKE 200’s built-in windscreen and shock mount keep your recordings sounding clean, without interference from the elements and motion.

Directional Audio

The MKE 200 features a supercardioid capsule that provides focus and detail while rejecting unwanted background noise.

Built-in Wind Screen and Shock Mount

All handheld cameras are susceptible to handling noise. With this in mind, the MKE 200 features integrated wind protection and shock absorption. These two features combine to ensure clean audio gets recorded, even while on the move. Equip the included furry windshield accessory for extra wind protection.

Compatibility

Each MKE 200 includes 3.5mm (1/8in) TRS and TRRS cables, for use with DSLR and mirrorless cameras (and mobile devices).

Power

The MKE 200 draws power from the camera, so no batteries required.
