Sennheiser MKE 2 Gold Subminiature Omni Lavalier

Sennheiser’s MKE 2 Gold is an omni lavalier made for broadcast and theater, small enough to hide under wardrobe, with a natural, uncolored sound.

Its Umbrella Diaphragm keeps out sweat and moisture, and its dual-diaphragm design all but ends sweat-outs. Two supplied end caps let you tailor the high frequencies.

Two of the versions here are kits. The black unterminated kit has an open end for your own connector. The black 3-pin kit, with reduced sensitivity (6.3 mV/Pa), plugs into Sennheiser 2000, 3000, and 5000 series bodypacks. Each kit adds an MZQ222 clip and an MZW2 windscreen. The third version is wired to an XLR connector with a built-in phantom power adapter, for hard-wired use.
