Sennheiser EW-D ME4 SET Digital Wireless Lavalier Set
The Sennheiser EW-D ME4 SET is a digital wireless lavalier kit built around the ME 4, a cardioid clip-on mic that keeps a speaker’s voice clear when the room is noisy.
A cardioid lavalier picks up less of the room than an omni and resists feedback from nearby loudspeakers. The metal EW-D SK bodypack sends to the EW-D EM rack receiver. The system’s 134 dB input dynamic range means there is no input sensitivity to set. Setup runs through the Smart Assist app over Bluetooth Low Energy, and auto scan finds clear frequencies. The bodypack runs up to 8 hours on two AA batteries, or up to 12 hours on a BA 70 rechargeable pack, sold separately.
Frequency Bands
This page offers three US bands: Q1-6 (470.2 to 526 MHz), R1-6 (520 to 576 MHz), and R4-9 (552 to 607.8 MHz). Each band covers 56 MHz with up to 90 channels. The signal is digital, so channels sit on an even 600 kHz grid.
