Sennheiser EW 512P G4 Lavalier Microphone System (GW1)
The Sennheiser EW 512P G4 is a camera-mount wireless lavalier system: an SK 500 G4 bodypack, an MKE 2 Gold lavalier, and an EK 500 G4 portable receiver.
It is made for film, interviews, and field recording. The MKE 2 Gold is an omnidirectional condenser lavalier that handles up to 142 dB SPL. The bodypack’s RF output switches between 10, 30, and 50 mW, for a range of up to 100 m (330 ft), and the transmitter and receiver sync over infrared.
The system tunes across up to 88 MHz with up to 32 channels. This set covers the GW1 band, 558 to 608 MHz. It runs up to 8 hours on AA batteries. Sennheiser has discontinued the set.
