Sennheiser AVX-MKE2 Digital Wireless Lavalier Set (SET-4-US)
Built for interviews and documentaries, the Sennheiser AVX-MKE2 pairs the MKE 2 lavalier with a digital wireless link that plugs straight into a camera’s XLR input.
The MKE 2 is an omnidirectional clip-on mic, so the voice stays even as the talent turns. The SK AVX bodypack runs about 15 hours on its lithium-ion pack.
The EKP AVX receiver sits on the camera’s XLR socket, turns on and off with the camera’s phantom power, and matches the camera’s input level. The system picks its own frequency in the license-free 1.9 GHz band and encrypts the signal.
