This beautiful maple box contains the Schoeps CMC-6U pre-amp, MK41 Supercardioid Capsule, SG20 Stand Clamp and the B5 foam Popscreen.

The CMC series is one of the most popular pre-amps from Schoeps. Multiple use capsules are available. The MK41 capsule offered in this box set is supercardioid. This capsule is strongly directional and less susceptible to acoustic feedback. The MK41 is not colored by reflections arriving off axis as are most shotgun type microphones in indoor settings. This makes it an effective alternative to the shotgun microphone. With the use of an active extension cable this capsule may also be extended remotely from the pre-amp for situations where space is an issue.
