Rycote Stereo Cyclone MS Kit 17

The Rycote Stereo Cyclone MS Kit 17 holds a Sennheiser MKH 8030 with an MKH 8040 or MKH 8050 for Mid-Side recording, wired for mics with MZL modules.

Its Connbox takes the two MZL connections inside the windshield to one 5-pin male XLR output. The mics go in without their XLR modules.

Like every Stereo Cyclone, it pairs a Lyre suspension with a floating basket suspension that keeps the basket from re-radiating sound. The asymmetric basket is covered in 3D-Tex, and a magnetic Z-lock opens it with one hand. Its wind noise reduction is comparable to a modular windshield with a fur cover. Rycote builds each kit by hand.
