Rycote Stereo Cyclone MS Kit 18
The Rycote Stereo Cyclone MS Kit 18 holds a Sennheiser MKH 8030 and an MKH 8040 or MKH 8050 for Mid-Side recording, wired for mics with their XLR modules fitted.
Its Connbox takes two 3-pin XLR connections inside the windshield to one 5-pin male XLR output, and the kit suppresses wind noise by up to 50 dB.
Like every Stereo Cyclone, it pairs a Lyre suspension with a floating basket suspension that keeps the basket from re-radiating sound. The compact basket is covered in 3D-Tex, and a magnetic Z-lock opens it with one hand. Rycote builds each kit by hand in the UK.
