Rycote Hot Shoe to 1/4″-20 Adapter

CNC-machined from brass, the Rycote Hot Shoe to 1/4″-20 Adapter fits a camera’s shoe and lets any accessory with a matching female thread sit on top.

Two locking thumbwheels hold everything steady: the lower one tightens the adapter onto the camera, and the upper one tightens the accessory onto the adapter, so the adapter fits and comes off without tools. It mounts microphone suspensions and other threaded accessories on cameras that have a shoe but no threaded mounting point.
