Rycote PCS-Boom Connector

The Rycote PCS-Boom Connector puts a quick release on a professional boom pole, so a shock mount or windshield clicks on and off with one hand.

A 3/8-inch male tip threads into the mount or windshield and stays fitted. To attach, press the tip into the connector until it clicks; to release, pull back the collar. The connection is secure and silent in use.

What It Fits

The connector threads onto any boom pole with a 3/8-inch male thread and locks on without damaging the thread. The tip suits any make of shock mount, suspension, or windshield kit with a female 3/8-inch thread.

It is part of Rycote’s Professional Connection System (PCS), so more tips let several mounts share one pole.
