Rycote Classic Adaptor for PCS-Boom Connector

Made for an existing Rycote Classic windshield kit, the Rycote Classic Adaptor adds the quick release of the Rycote Professional Connection System (PCS).

The Classic Adaptor replaces the kit’s existing boom adapter or pistol grip handle and carries a built-in, fixed PCS tip, so the windshield is always PCS-ready with one less removable part to manage. Because the tip is fixed rather than threaded on, it always sits in perfect alignment with the windshield. The result is smaller and lighter than the existing boom adapter with a separate 3/8″ PCS tip attached.

The XLR holder rotates through 360°, so the XLR can sit wherever suits the rig, and it is set at a slight kick angle to better accommodate plug-on transmitters at the end of the boom. The adapter fits Rycote Modular and pre-Modular Windshield Kits and Classic-Softie Kits. The PCS-Boom Connector is sold separately.
