RODE VideoMic Me-C Directional Microphone for USB-C Devices
The RODE VideoMic Me-C puts a directional microphone on a mobile device through its USB-C input, for recording audio when shooting video.
As a directional mic, it reduces surrounding noise to focus on what you are filming. It draws its power from the device over USB and records at 24-bit, at 44.1 or 48 kHz. A 3.5mm jack gives a headphone output for monitoring and playback. It works with the RODE Reporter app, the Camera app, and other recording apps, and RODE Reporter also updates the microphone’s firmware.
The aluminum body comes with a mounting clip that keeps the mic secure, and a furry windshield for filming outdoors and in bad weather.
