Remote Audio Hi-Q Lithium-Ion Batteries — The Remote Audio Meon line of power solutions now includes the Hi-Q 98Wh and Hi-Q 49Wh smart batteries.

The Hi-Q batteries are smart. This means they have sophisticated circuitry that balances the charging and discharging of the internal cells, and communicate with their chargers and the devices they are powering.

The Hi-Q batteries are small and light-weight, and they last a long time. The 98 Watt-hours has 30-percent more capacity than a lithium NP-1, while being smaller and lighter. All of this makes the Hi-Q batteries a great companion to Remote Audio’s famous BDS system, and cables for connecting them are already available.

The Hi-Q batteries use the industry standard contact configuration popularized by previous smart batteries already being used in the field. They are interchangeable with products made for this standard.

Please be aware that US Federal regulations qualify certain lithium batteries as “Hazardous Materials”. This qualification carries with it an additional fee of $75 if said items are transported via aircraft. Additional fees for these items are also assessed if shipping internationally. This is a flat fee and will only apply once for shipments containing a qualifying item.

If shipping within the US you may avoid this fee by selecting standard ground shipping. Otherwise we will contact you with a final shipping quote upon receiving your order.

Due to manufacturer restrictions, we may not be able to ship some or all of these products outside of North America. At checkout, all shipping prices are calculated from the US. Orders to Canadian addresses may be shipped from our Toronto or Vancouver stores, with shipping costs adjusted (usually lower).
