Phonak Roger Repeater

Phonak Roger Repeater — Extends the coverage area of the Roger Earpiece System beyond the native 15 to 40 meter range of a Roger transmitter. On larger sets or venues, a single transmitter may not cover the full production area. The Roger Repeater bridges that gap, relaying the signal from a Roger BaseStation or Roger On to any number of Roger Earpieces across multiple zones, rooms, or camera positions.

For film and television production, the Repeater is the practical solution for situations where talent or crew move between holding areas, stages, or locations that fall outside direct line of sight of the transmitter. Range between a BaseStation and a Repeater (or between two Repeaters) is 50 to 70 meters, with each Repeater then providing its own 15 to 40 meter coverage zone for earpieces. An unlimited number of Repeaters can be added to a single Roger network, and each adds only 4ms of latency. For live production on larger stages, the Repeater enables full wireless coverage from green room to main stage without any additional transmitters or frequency coordination.

Setup is handled automatically. The Roger Repeater self-ranges on startup and connects to the nearest available transmitter or upstream Repeater. If a connection is lost, it automatically searches for and reconnects to the network. The Repeater runs on an internal rechargeable battery and includes a mounting bracket compatible with a 3/8″ threaded connector for boom arm or stand mounting. It can also be wall-mounted or powered continuously via micro-USB.
