Lectrosonics SNA600a Adjustable Dipole Antenna
For wireless mic receivers or IFB transmitters, the Lectrosonics SNA600a is an adjustable dipole antenna with a 100 MHz bandwidth you can center anywhere from 550 to 800 MHz.
Set the center frequency by sliding the two arms to the matching mark on the printed scale. The arms fold flat for storage. With the arms fully out, the SWR stays below 2:1 from 465 to 850 MHz.
The body is fiberglass circuit board, and copper traces form a balun matched to its 50 ohm BNC connector. A capacitor blocks DC, so the antenna is safe with antenna power turned on at the receiver or multicoupler. Its mounting block also threads onto a mic stand.
Good to Know
Mount it with the arms vertical, away from metal surfaces. Bend the aluminum strap only once or twice, at its notches. The antenna resists weather but is not made for permanent outdoor mounting.
