Lectrosonics M2T Digital IEM Transmitter with Dante
The Lectrosonics M2T sends two stereo digital IEM mixes from a half-rack chassis, fed by analog sources or a Dante network.
Each RF carrier sends one stereo pair at 10, 25, or 50 mW. Digital transmission does away with the compandor of older FM in-ear systems, for a flat frequency response, maximum channel separation, and distortion under 0.15%. Latency stays under 1.8 ms from an analog source. AES 256-bit encryption is available in DCHX compatibility mode.
Each of the four inputs is set as analog or Dante. The analog inputs are locking XLR/TRS combo jacks for balanced line-level signals, and the Dante inputs arrive through two RJ45 ports. Input gain adjusts in 1 dB steps.
The front panel has membrane switches and a large backlit LCD that stays readable in daylight or dim light. It also holds a USB port for firmware updates, an IR port for syncing receivers, and a headphone jack. The chassis is all-metal, with a powder-coated aluminum front panel. The M2T is designed and made in the USA. It is designed for touring, installation, theater, and broadcast.
