Lectrosonics LR Compact Digital Hybrid Wireless Receiver
The Lectrosonics LR brings Digital Hybrid Wireless reception to ENG and DSLR camera rigs in a compact housing that runs on two AA batteries.
Tracking front-end filters block interference from strong signals on nearby channels, which preserves the operating range. The receiver tunes over a 75 MHz range in 100 kHz or 25 kHz steps. SmartDiversity combines the receiver’s two antennas, and SmartSquelch mutes noise automatically as the transmitter moves near or far.
The receiver scans the RF spectrum on its LCD in single or multiple blocks to find clear frequencies, and SmartTune speeds up that search on site. The IR port sends the chosen settings to a transmitter. Compatibility modes cover Lectrosonics 100, 200, and 300 Series and IFB transmitters as well as Digital Hybrid models.
The balanced TA3M output adjusts from -50 to +5 dBu in 1 dB steps, and firmware updates load through the USB port. The housing is machined from a solid aluminum billet, and a hinged aluminum battery door keeps firm contact with the batteries. The LRBATELIM battery eliminator runs the receiver from external DC, and the supplied wire belt clip also holds the optional LRSHOE camera shoe mount.
