Lectrosonics IFBT2.0 Dual-Channel IFB Transmitter
Built for broadcast studios, film and TV sets, and location sound carts, the Lectrosonics IFBT2.0 is a dual-channel IFB transmitter with independent channels in a half-rack enclosure.
Two units side by side match the rack density of the shelf-mounted IFBT4, four channels in 1RU. Designed as the IFBT4’s successor, it works with the IFBR1B and IFBR1C (IFBlue) receivers and doubles as a point-to-point audio transmitter.
Frequency Bands
Trew Audio carries two versions: A1 (470.100 to 537.575 MHz) and B1 (537.600 to 607.950 MHz). Each carrier tunes in 25 kHz steps and runs at 10, 25, 50, 100, or 250 mW.
Inputs
Two XLR/TRS combo inputs take mic level, line level, Clear-Com, RTS, or AES3 digital, each set from the menu, and they are protected from the DC on wet lines. Two RJ45 jacks bring in Dante audio. A balanced preamp with very high common-mode rejection keeps hum and noise down.
Compatibility
In IFB and Nu Hybrid modes it reaches every Lectrosonics IFB receiver back to the IFBR1, along with Digital Hybrid receivers and digital receivers with Hybrid compatibility; the Compatibility tab lists them. In Nu Hybrid mode the audio runs flat from 40 Hz to 20 kHz with no companding, for point-to-point work.
Control and RF
A circulator/isolator on each channel acts as a one-way valve for RF, cutting intermodulation so frequencies can sit closer even at high power. A color LCD and tactile buttons run the menus, and USB-C and Ethernet connect it to Wireless Designer for monitoring, coordination, setup, and firmware. An ultra-quiet fan cools it.
