K-Tek KHCW Klassic Boom Pole Counterweight
The K-Tek KHCW counterweight attaches to the base of a Klassic boom pole to balance the mic and mount at the far end.
On a long pole, even a light mic and mount act like a load on a lever, and the operator tires as the day goes on. The counterweight offsets that force, so the rigged pole feels lighter in the hands even though it weighs more. Two or more stack for a heavy payload.
It is foam-covered machined brass and weighs 1.7 lb (770 g). It fits Klassic poles only. For Mighty Boom poles, use the KPHW counterweights.
