K-Tek KE79CC Avalon Traveler Boom Pole (Coiled Cable)
The K-Tek KE79CC Avalon Traveler is a six-section aluminum travel pole with an internal coiled cable. It collapses to 1 ft 8 in and reaches 6 ft 6 in.
It weighs 1.452 lb (659 g). The coiled cable ends in a male 3-pin XLR with a straight exit at the bottom, set in a fixed Delrin base.
Avalon knurled collars lock each section, and the black anodized aluminum tubes have a smooth finish. The headpiece is fixed, with a 3/8-16 male thread. K-Tek makes the Avalon poles in Vista, California.
The KE79 is the uncabled version, and the KE79CCR has a side-exit XLR.
