JK Audio Universal Host Desktop Digital Hybrid for VoIP/PBX
JK Audio Universal Host Desktop Digital Hybrid for VoIP/PBX Phones — A desktop digital hybrid that converts an IP or PBX telephone into a professional interview station. It connects between the telephone handset and the base, delivering talk show quality caller audio from most business phone systems without a dedicated analog line.
Connect a dynamic microphone and headphones to capture the host voice in full audio bandwidth while keeping it separated from the caller. The digital hybrid couples audio through the handset cord, and its DSP continuously monitors transmit and receive signals, using a proprietary dual-convergence echo canceller to reach 50 dB of separation with no setup and no noise burst sent down the line. A handset selector switch covers electret, carbon, and dynamic handset types.
The built-in 16-bit USB audio codec records in stereo at up to 48 kHz, placing the host on the left channel and the caller on the right, and plays recordings from the computer directly into the phone call. The balanced XLR output carries only the caller’s voice for a mixer or PA system, and the rear stereo output keeps both voices on separate channels. Handset and Online buttons choose between the handset and the Universal Host connections, and a switch selects caller or USB audio for the 3.5mm headphone jack. Send and caller LEDs and volume controls simplify level setting.
