JK Audio innkeeper PBX Desktop Digital Hybrid for PBX Phones
The JK Audio innkeeper PBX turns a multi-line PBX telephone system into a talk show console, connecting between a phone’s handset and its base.
For a talk show, connect it to the console and an existing multi-line phone. A producer screens callers on another phone while the host takes callers on the air by selecting lines. In the newsroom, connect a mic and headphones to the innkeeper PBX to record interviews with clean separation between your voice and the caller. In a conference room, it connects a PA system to the PBX phone system, and the echo canceller prevents feedback in full-duplex conversations.
The digital hybrid couples audio through the handset cord without the crosstalk of analog hybrids. The DSP continuously monitors the transmit and receive signals. Its proprietary dual-convergence echo canceller typically reaches more than 50 dB of separation, with no setup and no noise burst sent down the line.
It connects a microphone, headphones, a mixer, a sound card, and the handset. The balanced XLR output carries only the caller’s voice, and the rear stereo output puts your voice on the left channel and the caller on the right. Handset and Broadcast buttons choose between talking on the handset and sending and receiving through the audio connections. A selector switch covers electret, carbon, and dynamic handsets.
