DPA N-BP1 Bodypack Transmitter
The DPA N-BP1 is the bodypack transmitter of DPA’s N-Series digital wireless system, lightweight and shaped to the contours of the body for comfort over long wear.
The versions here are for the US (region B), tuning 470 to 608, 614 to 616, and 653 to 663 MHz in 25 kHz steps. It runs more than eight hours on standard AA batteries, or on DPA’s optional LBPBP1 rechargeable pack, and the batteries load easily.
Stacked converters and optimized input and A/D circuitry give the system a 126 dB dynamic range, so there is no gain to set on the transmitter. Levels are balanced at the receiver with digital trim from -20 to +40 dB. The bodypack transmits at 1, 5, 10, 20, or 50 mW, with latency under 2.9 ms.
It comes with a MicroLock input for 2-wire DPA mics, or a 3-pin LEMO input that takes 2-wire and 3-wire mics. The housing is zinc alloy, with an SMA antenna connector.
