About DPA Microphones
DPA was founded in Denmark in 1992 by engineers from Brüel & Kjær, the maker of precision measurement microphones. Their R&D and production are in Denmark, where each mic takes up to 200 assembly steps and as many as 15 calibrations, so any two DPA mics of the same model sound the same.
