DPA 4661 CORE+ Heavy Duty Lavalier Microphone

For situations that call for maximum security, the DPA 4661 CORE+ is a heavy duty omnidirectional lavalier microphone with a stainless steel housing, a heavy-duty cable relief, and a thick 2.2 mm (0.09 in) cable.

Its sensitivity is set for loud sources up to 144 dB SPL peak, such as snare drums, guitar, bass, speaker cabinets, and other loud instruments. CORE+ keeps distortion low across the whole dynamic range.

The Kevlar-reinforced cable and strain relief stand up to constant twisting, bending, and pulling, and DPA’s Double Vent Protection System keeps out humidity and sweat. Two anodized stainless steel grids come with the mic: the Soft Boost Grid adds 3 dB at 8 to 20 kHz, and the High Boost Grid adds 10 dB around 12 kHz. Both detach to be wiped clean of sweat, makeup, and dust.

The MicroLock version, in black or beige, connects to most professional wireless systems through DPA’s MicroLock adapters, and the black version also comes hardwired with a 3-pin LEMO connector.
