Cinela ZEPHYX spare parts rebuild a ZEPHYX windshield piece by piece, from the cage and its inner cross to the bellows, back cap, fabric cover, carrying case, and the inner axis with its swivel.

The ZEPHYX is the only Cinela windshield whose cage comes off. The cage hangs on a cross fixed to a central axis, with semi-elliptical isolators set into four points of the cage. A bellows closes the gap between the axis and the floating cage. The back cap closes with a hook at the top and a snap at the bottom.

Fabric Cover

The primary fabric is a double layer of polyester and polyamide with very high acoustic transparency, down 1 dB at 100 Hz and 2 dB at 18 kHz. It handles light wind on its own, and its black and gray tennis-ball pattern makes the windshield easier to aim.

Inner Axis

The Z-AX is the central element of the windshield. It carries the fixing for the cage, a housing for the cable connections, a two-axis main swivel with a single knob, and a small OSIX swivel that holds the suspension and sets its angle. Its XLR holder takes Neutrik X and XX series connectors, and a standard 3/8-inch thread fits the boom. Cinela makes it for the ZEPHYX or the ALBERT, so name the windshield when ordering.
