Cinela ZEPHYX Suspension Sets

Cinela ZEPHYX suspension sets, the X-SET blocks, hold a microphone or a stereo pair inside the suspended cage of a ZEPHYX windshield, each set made for one microphone or configuration.

Each set is a block derived from Cinela’s OSIX suspension, fixed inside the ZEPHYX cage by a single knob. Changing the set moves one ZEPHYX from one microphone setup to another. Taken out of the cage, an X-SET can also stand in for an OSIX suspension for most of the microphones the ZEPHYX takes, up to 15 cm long.

Mono and Stereo Sets

The X-SET-1 sets up a ZEPHYX for Neumann KM 184/185 and KMA microphones, and the X-SET-2 sets one up for a Schoeps CMC 6. Four sets carry MS pairs: Schoeps CMC 6, CMC 1 L, or CMC 1 U, or Neumann KMA. Others take a Schoeps MiniCMIT or DPA 4017C with a CCM 8, a Schoeps CMXY for XY, or a double MS set of a CCM 8 with two CCM 4.
