The Bubblebee Industries Microphone Foam for DPA 4098 is a precision-cut foam windscreen made to fit that gooseneck microphone on podiums, lecterns, and conference tables.
The acoustically transparent open-cell foam filters breath noise, plosives, and light wind while keeping the microphone’s natural frequency response. It slides over the capsule and holds snugly without tape or adhesive, and it comes in black or white to suit the microphone and the room. Indoors, it handles drafts from heating and air conditioning; outdoors, a fur windshield such as Bubblebee’s Windkiller SE for DPA 4098 does more. Wash it gently with mild soap and water, rinse it well, and let it air dry before use. Replace it if it tears or loses its shape.
