Sound Giving

Trew Audio recently donated a couple of lavelier mics for use at a local Nashville elementary school. We dropped in just before the end of the school year and were truly impressed with every aspect of the school and by the ways those simple lavs are capturing and delivering far more than sound signals for WLDC.
The Lockeland Design Center is a Nashville literature magnet school where the students broadcast announcements for each day to their peers, parents and teachers via closed circuit tv in all classrooms. The broadcast anchors are 4th graders who take the responsibility seriously, yet they have fun while leading by example. The prospect of appearing on tv excites the kids and motivates them to read more. Once a student of any age has visited the library 70 times they can appear on the broadcast as a Library King or Queen for the day.
Tune in to WLDC!
