Cinela ZEPHYX Replacement Fur

Cinela ZEPHYX replacement fur goes over the primary fabric of a ZEPHYX windshield when the wind picks up, in short or long pile.

The short pile adds 12 to 15 dB of wind protection in the 20 to 200 Hz band, compared with the primary fabric alone. The long pile, Cinela’s standard, adds another 4 to 5 dB in that band, at the cost of a slight 1 to 2 dB loss at the lowest and highest frequencies and a larger windshield.

Colors

Like the ZEPHYX’s primary fabric, the furs come in two-tone black and gray, with tennis-ball seams that make the round windshield easier to aim at the end of a boom. The long pile also comes in all black or all gray. The short-pile fur closes at the back with a single snap.
