Connectivity
ZMT5-HH is a revolutionary handheld microphone that can operate as both a wireless transmitter and a hardwired microphone simultaneously. Hardwired balanced mic level analog audio offers an alternative to wireless transmission, or can be used simultaneously as a backup or sent to another device. Perfect for everything from professional broadcast shows and live performances to seminars, weddings, internet talk shows, video blogs, gaming videos, concerts, houses of worship, and more.

Interchangeable Capsules
ZMT5-HH is compatible with any Shure 1.25″ opening and 28 thread pitch compatible mic capsule. (Microphone capsules are sold separately).

Encrypted Audio
ZMT5-HH transmits wireless audio using 100% digital modulation, resulting in fully encrypted audio. Digital encryption is the only way to ensure the privacy of all audio transmissions. A digital transmission also provides audio quality far superior to an analog system.

Internal Recording
Audio can be recorded internally to a microSD card using the highly reliable lossless MARF (Mobile Audio Recording Format), which eliminates file corruption common to recordings due to dead battery or early card removal.

Advanced Features
Equipped with ZaxNet, audio is automatically recorded with a time code reference. Frequency, output power, and record mode can be remotely controlled. Its fully digital wireless audio transmission features NeverClip, which extends the dynamic range of the microphone to 128dB, eliminating the need for a compressor that distorts the natural sound quality at high-volume audio levels.

Frequency Range
ZMT5-HH is available in the 470 to 698 MHz frequency band.

Power
ZMT5-HH is powered by a single 18650 Li-ion battery that can last up to 10 hours. The display will approximate the percentage of remaining battery power for easy exchange.

Internal Antenna
ZMT5-HH has no external visible antenna. The internal antenna can transmit audio, regardless of how it’s held

Recording Internally
Internal recording is available through microSD. Zaxcom recommends using 4GB memory cards from either Transcend or SanDisk.
