Wisycom MTP61 Miniature Bodypack Transmitter
The Wisycom MTP61 is a miniature bodypack transmitter for location sound, theater, and any job where the smallest size matters. It weighs about 84 g with its battery and tunes 470 to 1260 MHz across Wisycom’s versions.
Linear technology removes intermodulation distortion. The signal stays robust, range goes up, and you can run many transmitters close together without an intermod frequency plan. The DSP switches between wideband and narrowband operation, and the ENS compander keeps the sound clean. An integrated low-pass filter blocks ultrasonic interference from devices such as focus pullers.
Each MTP61 also records to its internal 64 GB microSD card at 24-bit or 32-bit, 48 kHz, and decodes linear timecode. Bluetooth and the Wisycom app give you full control from a phone or tablet in real time, and the front panel buttons have shortcuts for quick menu access.
The US version sold here tunes 470 to 663 MHz plus 940 to 960 MHz at up to 100 mW. It runs on the LBP61 lithium-ion battery for about 8 hours at 10 mW, and the MTP61 XL version doubles that. Choose a 3-pin LEMO or DPA MicroLock audio input.
