Wisycom MTP60 Multiband Bodypack Transmitter
The Wisycom MTP60, a multiband bodypack transmitter, brings linear technology, a built-in recorder, and Bluetooth control to professional wireless microphone work.
The US version sold here tunes 470 to 608 MHz at up to 100 mW, 614 to 663 MHz at up to 20 mW, and 940 to 960 MHz at up to 100 mW. Linear technology removes intermodulation distortion, and an intermodulation cancellation circuit guards against self-interference. The transmitter switches between wideband and narrowband operation and uses the ENS compander.
The MTP60 records to a microSD card as 24-bit or 32-bit, 48 kHz BWF files and decodes linear timecode. The US model records or transmits, but not both at once.
Bluetooth 5 Long Range control works from Wisycom Manager or the mobile apps, and an MRK16 acting as a bridge extends it to hundreds of meters. A haptic engine gives tactile feedback in different vibration patterns, and the front panel buttons have shortcut combinations for quick menu access.
The input takes up to +26 dBu (15.5 V at clipping), so mixers and instruments connect directly. The PHA60 accessory adds 48 V phantom power for wired mics. A low-pass filter blocks ultrasonic interference, and a flexible circuit board with no internal connectors adds reliability. Two AA batteries or the MPRLBP lithium-ion pack power it, for about 10 hours at 10 mW on alkalines.
