URSA Thigh Strap

The URSA Thigh Strap holds a wireless transmitter flat against the thigh, out of sight under a skirt, dress, or costume. It suits weddings, dance, and active scenes. The Beige, White, Black, and Caramel straps now have URSA’s split end. The strap divides into two tails that each stretch on their own, so it follows the taper of the leg and keeps an even tension all the way around.

The Espresso strap keeps the original single-end design. URSA also makes a version with a sideways pouch for small transmitters under tight costumes, and that version keeps the single end as well.

The strap is cut from URSA’s ultra-thin bonded fabric, 1 mm thick, which stretches, breathes, and stays soft on skin through long days of wear. Its outer surface takes the hook fastener at any point, so it closes at whatever size the leg needs. A hypoallergenic polyurethane gripper runs along the inside and holds onto skin or clothing, so the strap does not slide down the leg.

Pouch and Cable Pocket

The standard vertical pouch measures 10 × 8 cm and has an oval of gripper inside to keep the transmitter from shifting. Beside it, a closed cable pocket takes up spare mic cable and gives it strain relief. A cable hole routes the cable into the pouch.

The pouch holds bodypacks from ten makers, among them Lectrosonics, Shure, Sennheiser, and Sony, and the Compatibility tab lists every model it fits.
