URSA Heat Shields

URSA Heat Shields — Designed as a quick on-set solution to keep your cast comfortable and the cameras rolling. Made from a premium heat-resistant foam that reduces the radiation of heat from a transmitter to the body by up to 40%. Each pack of Heat Shields contains 2 small Shields (55 x 36 mm) and 2 large Shields (68 x 50 mm). Both sizes are 4mm thick and made to fit perfectly inside URSA Pouches and Straps.

Transmitters can generate a lot of heat, especially when on high power, which can become uncomfortable for actors. Heat Shields are durable, stretchy, and soft to the touch. Their closed-cell structure ensures excellent insulation with a low-profile depth of just 4 mm.

Please be aware that US Federal regulations qualify certain lithium batteries as “Hazardous Materials”. This qualification carries with it an additional fee of $75 if said items are transported via aircraft. Additional fees for these items are also assessed if shipping internationally. This is a flat fee and will only apply once for shipments containing a qualifying item.

If shipping within the US you may avoid this fee by selecting standard ground shipping. Otherwise we will contact you with a final shipping quote upon receiving your order.
