URSA Furry Strips

URSA Furry Strips put soft fur with an adhesive back on the friction points that make clothing noise on a lav mic.

Fabric rubbing on fabric, or material brushing against chest hair, reaches the mic as a harsh rustle. A Furry Strip placed at that point turns the rustle into a softer, lower-frequency sound, which gives cleaner radio mic audio and less need for ADR. The strips work well on polyester shirts, coarse jackets, and hairy chests.

Each strip is 7.8 × 2.2 cm, with URSA’s super-soft fur on one side and a hypoallergenic, residue-free adhesive under a peel-off backing on the other. Strips cut to size in seconds for quick fixes between takes. Packs hold 9 strips in Black, Beige, or White, and the Multi-Pack holds 3 of each color.
