Triad Orbit iO-FF Retrofit Female-to-Female Quick Change Coupler

Triad Orbit iO-FF — The iO-FF creates a female-to-female connection that expands a Triad-Orbit mounting rig. It brings the iO quick-change system to more points in the setup, so components attach and release without tools. It works with Orbit booms, Micro orbital adapters, iO components, iO clamps, and compatible mounting heads. For film and television sound work, that means faster changes between booms, mics, and accessories.

The coupler ships with dual iO-H2 mounting heads pre-installed and two 3/8 inch male adapters. That combination lets it drop into existing hardware and open up new connection points for compact, flexible builds. It measures 98 mm long and 23 mm in diameter, with 3/8-16 and 5/8-27 threads. For live production, it speeds stage resets by turning threaded connections into quick-change ones. Studio and streaming rigs gain the same tool-free flexibility when reconfiguring a workspace around changing needs.
