Sound Devices Astral PowerStation PSU (45W)

The Astral PowerStation PSU 45W is the single-unit power supply for the Sound Devices Astral PowerStation Cell charger. Rated for one cell, fully loaded.  That covers six XL-B14500 batteries, four XL-B18650 batteries, or a mixed load, all charging at once. Power is delivered over USB-C, which lets the Cell run its intelligent fast charging and manage charge speed on a per-battery basis. Plug adapters are included in the box, so the supply is ready for use in the US, the UK, Europe, and Australia without hunting for a converter.

This is the right supply for a mixer running a single Astral charging bay. Production sound packages that live on a cart, in a bag, or in a hotel room at the end of a shooting day all benefit from a supply that is small enough to travel and rated correctly for the load. Live production and broadcast teams working a one-Cell setup get the same simplicity.
