Sennheiser HD 300 PROtect Monitoring Headphones with ActiveGard

Built on the HD 300 PRO, the Sennheiser HD 300 PROtect adds a switchable ActiveGard limiter that holds sudden peaks to 110 dB SPL to protect the wearer’s hearing.

ActiveGard catches a loud burst in the feed and brings it down at once, then returns to normal when the signal settles. The sound stays clear while it works, and you can switch it off when you do not need it.

Like the HD 300 PRO, it has closed, over-ear cups with up to 32 dB of passive isolation and a linear, high-resolution sound. It is made for broadcast and live production, where talkback and program feeds can spike without warning. Pads, headband, and cable are quick to replace, and the cable uses Sennheiser’s exchangeable system connector.
