Sennheiser EK 2000 IEM Portable Monitoring Receiver
The Sennheiser EK 2000 IEM is a stereo beltpack receiver for in-ear monitoring with the SR 2050 IEM transmitter, built for demanding stage and broadcast work.
It uses adaptive diversity: the earphone cable acts as a second antenna, which cuts dropouts. The IE 4 earphones come with it, and any in-ear phones with a 3.5 mm plug work too. This version covers the AW+ band, 470 to 558 MHz.
Tuning and Control
The receiver offers up to 3,000 frequencies in a 75 MHz switching bandwidth, with 20 fixed banks of up to 32 compatible presets and 6 banks of up to 32 tunable channels. A frequency scan finds open channels, and the transmitter syncs the receiver’s settings wirelessly. Hi Boost, an adjustable limiter, stereo or focus mode, and balance are set on the pack.
Power
It runs 4 to 6 hours on two AA batteries or a BA 2015 rechargeable pack, and charging contacts let the BA 2015 charge inside the receiver. A 4-stage display shows the battery status, and auto-lock prevents accidental changes.
