Sennheiser XSW 1-ME3 Wireless Headmic Set (548-572 MHz)
The Sennheiser XSW 1-ME3 leaves a singer’s or presenter’s hands free: a light ME 3 headset mic goes wireless through a compact bodypack to a receiver that sets itself up.
The ME 3 is a cardioid condenser headset, which keeps the mic at the same distance from the mouth while the wearer moves or dances. The EM-XSW 1 receiver has built-in antennas and antenna-switching diversity, and it finds a free frequency and syncs the transmitter to it.
This set is the A model, for 548 to 572 MHz, with up to 10 compatible channels in the band. The SK-XSW bodypack runs about 10 hours on two AA batteries.
