In-table mounting:

Stands that are mounted in-table normally use a TEF table flange. For a 250 mm long in-table stand, the lightweight version TEF-S should be used, or for use with a popscreen, the medium-hard variant TEF-M.

A complete table microphone set could be made up of these items, for example:

PRACTICE

  • _U version: This gooseneck is used at an ordinary speaking position, or, together with the socket end of an XLR cable, anchored in a TEF table flange.
  • _38 version: This gooseneck is for mounting on a 3/8″ tap. It is used at an ordinary speaking position, or – together with the socket end of an XLR cable, anchored in a TEF table flange.
  • _C version: An MK microphone capsule is screwed onto one end and a CMC microphone amplifier on the other. The CMC amplifier is then mounted in a TEF table flange.
