Rycote Modular Windshield WS 1 Kit

The Rycote WS 1 combines a small modular suspension, Windshield 1, and Windjammer 1 in one modular windshield kit that isolates the microphone from wind and handling noise.

The modular suspension supports the microphone in a cradle of Lyre suspension webs, isolating it completely from handling and cable-borne noise. The windshield basket surrounds the microphone and its connector and slides onto the suspension, cutting wind noise by up to 30 dB. With the gray Windjammer fur cover added, the kit cuts wind noise by up to 50 dB.

Rycote also sells each part of the modular system separately. The kit is 280 mm long overall.
