Rycote Lavalier Foam Windscreen

The Rycote Lavalier Foam Windscreen comes as a pack of five discreet slip-on covers that protect the mic against light wind and pop noise.

The durable open-cell acoustic foam, made only for Rycote, cuts pop and wind noise by up to 20 dB without the usual loss of high frequencies. It also resists moisture and UV light. The foams fit lavalier microphones 4.5 mm in diameter and up to 15 mm long, in black, beige, or brown.

For a further 12 dB of wind noise attenuation in windier conditions, the Rycote Lavalier Windjammer fits on top of the foam. Rycote also makes neoprene-coated foams that repel water in light rain and other damp conditions.
