Rycote InVision USM Universal Studio Shock Mount
The Rycote InVision USM, a universal shock mount, brings Rycote’s patented Lyre suspension to large-diaphragm studio microphones from 18 to 55 mm in diameter. Its W-shaped Lyres sit around a central mounting ring with adjustable fasteners that tighten to fit each microphone.
The USM uses no elastic parts at all, so it never sags or needs rethreading, and it provides up to twice the isolation of a traditional elastic suspension. Rycote’s InVision Universal Pop Filter locks onto the USM’s outer support ring in seconds.
