RODE DS3 Desktop Studio Arm — A compact desktop arm that stands on its own weighted base, so no clamp or permanent mounting point is needed. Ideal for glass desks, standing desks, narrow tables and shared workstations where a clamp arm has nothing to grip. The whole assembly can be picked up and moved without dismantling anything. A precision ball head handles positioning across a wide range of angles, with a central locking mechanism holding the chosen position once the load is set. Operation is quiet enough to adjust while a microphone is live.

Load capacity is 1.5 kg (3.3 lb), covering broadcast dynamics, condensers, small cameras, smartphones and desktop lighting. Mounting hardware includes a 1/4-inch 20 adaptor and a 5/8-inch babypin adaptor, so standard mic clips and shock mounts fit alongside camera and light fittings. Construction is precision-milled metal with a natural cork base inlay, and integrated cable clips keep XLR or USB runs tidy across the desk. Available in black and white.
