RF Venue Diversity Omni 5-Channel Wireless Mic Pack

For coverage in every direction, the RF Venue D-OMNID5 pack joins a Diversity Omni antenna with a DISTRO5 HDR antenna distribution system and the cables to connect them. It covers up to five channels.

The parts are designed to work together, so the pack works without any RF engineering. The compact antenna stands on a stage or in an outdoor area that needs coverage all around. Two 25 ft low-loss antenna cables run from the antenna to the DISTRO5 HDR, and a 10-pack of 1.5 ft low-loss BNC interconnects links the DISTRO5 HDR to the receivers. RF Venue terminates and checks this double-shielded coax in house. Wireless microphones and receivers are sold separately.

Diversity Omni Antenna

The Diversity Omni puts two antennas on a single stand, one for vertically and one for horizontally polarized signals, and covers a full 360 degrees. Receivers see a steady signal however the presenter holds the microphone, and a single Diversity Omni gives better coverage than two traditional omni antennas. It suits indoor multi-zone projects and large outdoor areas such as sports venues, theme parks, and amphitheaters.

DISTRO5 HDR Distribution

The DISTRO5 HDR is a half-rack antenna and power distribution system that sends clean, low-noise RF across the 470 to 698 MHz band to up to five wireless microphone receivers of any brand. Two units cascade with the included joining plate hardware for up to 9 channels of wireless mics in one rack space. Its internal power supply also delivers up to 5 A of 12 V DC through the included DC Octopus cable to receivers and other rack gear. A 12 V DC input lets it run on battery power on a sound cart.
