The Remote Audio SONY18ADPT lets headphones with a threaded 3.5 mm plug, such as the Sony MDR-7506, plug into a 1/4 in jack.
The gold-plated adapter screws onto the threaded 3.5 mm TRS plug and ends in a 1/4 in TRS plug. Keep a spare in the bag to replace a lost MDR-7506 adapter.
